In a decision that will no doubt annoy some people, Remedy and 505 Games have announced that the upcoming psychological thriller Control is joining the list of Epic Games Store exclusives. The deal is a 12-month exclusive, so after that, the game will (presumably) be available for other platforms.
Erroneously, the trailer states that the game was available for pre-purchase, but Epic Games clarified in a tweet immediately after the trailer that this was not the case just yet.
When a secret government agency is infiltrated by an otherworldly threat, it falls on Jesse Faden to take back Control.

This comes along with the news that Quantic Dream will have ports of Heavy Rain, Beyond: Two Souls and Detroit: Become Human available as exclusives on the platform, as well.
Control is expected to release for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC later this year.
