Bounding Box Software continue to tease with their upcoming throwback first-person shooter Proteus with a new pre-Alpha gameplay trailer. The game is also being funded via Kickstarter, which is just over $2000 USD away from reaching its goal of $52,000 (with 12 days to go).
As for the trailer itself, if you’re a fan of punching/shooting the blood out of monsters, gibs flying everywhere, accompanied by subtle-yet-tense music, then you’re in luck! I love the mix of current aspects of 3D shooters, combined with what you would’ve seen in the genre’s 90s early days. Definitely one to watch.
Proteus is due out in Early Access on Steam “fall of 2019, followed by a full release in 2020”.
