If there’s anything to take away from this, people might just want another entry in the Bloodborne series.
Exactly one week after its Kickstarter campaign went live, CMON Games’ board game adaptation of From Software’s Bloodborne has raised $2 Million USD in funding. To put that in perspective, the project was originally asking for $200,000. This means that the game has made over ten times what was originally being sought.
The project’s funding has also surpassed the vast majority of its stretch goals, which included additional figurines of new characters, enemies, and more challenges for players to take on. The campaign for Bloodborne: The Board Game is still on through May 14, 2019, so if you’re interested, you can still chip in for its development.
No word exactly on when the board game will ship, although the Kickstarter page says that it would ship “around 8 to 10 months” after the campaign concludes.
