Brujah Clan Revealed And Detailed For ‘Bloodlines 2’
We’ve already been introduced to the lowly Thinblood clan for Paradox’s upcoming Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2. But now, we’re getting into the good stuff with the reveal of the game’s first full-blood clan in The Brujah.
The Brujah are known as ‘The Rabble’ to the rest of the vampires. In Redemption, the clan was known as a group of scholarly warriors, but in Bloodlines 2, they’re now viewed by the other clans as punks and troublemakers. They live up to their reputation, as The Brujah are known to be associated with failed Anarch movements. Anarchs reject the vampire establishment, which is obviously attractive to The Brujah.
What this means is that they aren’t affiliated with Seattle’s other vampire political factions, and as a result are seen as unpredictable. They also love a good fight, and even host fight clubs. As a result, their vampire powers reflect this pugilistic nature.
The first of The Brujah’s skills is Potency. You like throwing your weight around. The Fist of Caine skill gives you a punch that’s able to knock down walls and throw people around. Earthshock allows you to pound the ground, creating a shockwave and knocking down anyone that gets too close.
Another skill is Celerity, which has you zipping around like nobody’s business. Unseen Storm lets you dash in any direction so quickly that, to anyone looking, you disappear, giving you the chance to make a quick attack or dodge enemy attacks. Accelerate pulls something out of The Matrix, where the world slows down around you, letting pull off fancy stunts and even avoid bullets.
Paradox will be hosting another Twitch stream that will detail more on these abilities, as well as how gameplay as a Brujah works. Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 is due out next year for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Legendary Grimdark ‘Warhammer 40,000’ Artist John Blanche Has Passed Away at 78
In the grim darkness of the far future there is only war, but it was a cheerful illustrator from England who helped to define the terrifying war-torn imagery that inspired what we now know as Grimdark (a hybrid genre combining horror with sci-fi/fantasy).
Unfortunately for fans of Warhammer 40,000, Trench Crusade and countless other sources of Grimdark thrills, veteran artist John Blanche passed away this week after struggling with health issues for the past few years.
While the artist retired back in 2023, he leaves us with an enormous legacy of iconic artwork that continues to inspire gamers and storytellers around the world to this very day.
The news is especially gloomy as it was only last year that Daniel Lowman and Napoleon Dynamite himself Jon Heder released The Grim & the Dark: The Search for John Blanche, a documentary following Heder’s exploration of the Grimdark genre culminating in a heartwarming encounter with Blanche in his own home.
Below is one of my favorite pieces by Blanche, his highly influential depiction of Warhammer 40k’s God-Emperor of Mankind on his Golden Throne.
We send our deepest condolences to John Blanche’s family, friends, and fans.
