Well, take it as a consolation that you can play as Ash in Dead By Daylight.
With the supposed leak by Switch players that Bruce Campbell’s Ash would be one of the DLC characters for Netherrealm’s Mortal Kombat 11, Bruce responded to the rumour at this past weekend’s Texas Frightmare, stating that his latest Twitter tease has nothing to do with the game.
And to further put the rumour to rest, Bruce has taken to Twitter to dispel it in style.

As disappointed as some of us might be that Ash won’t be sawing/shooting off heads, we can always hope that someone over at Warner Bros is listening for the next installment in the Mortal Kombat franchise.
There’s still the question of just what Bruce really is teasing for this September. Who knows? It might not be the return of Ash in Mortal Kombat, but in another game entirely…
