So, where do you go after you’ve come off of the success of the God of War series? For David Jaffe, he’s right back at it with a new project that apparently is more horror oriented.
In a series of tweets, Jaffe states that his next project will be a “single player horror game” that will attempt “something new” with regards to the in-game storytelling. Jaffe hasn’t shown anyone just what he’s working on, but then again, when you have the pedigree of success with the God of War series (as well as the awesome Twisted Metal series), it’s hard to not take notice.
Of course, there’s no guarantee that this idea will see the light of day, but again, that whole thing with success tends to sway people to back it.
I’m designing/writing something new these days. It’s a single player, horror game that is attempting something new with in-game storytelling and I am in love with it.
