Oops! In today’s mid-chapter update, the Dead by Daylight team accidentally revealed that the Scream franchise is making its way into the game with the addition of Ghostface as a playable slasher, and the developers wasted no time fessing up and confirming the news!
The team tweeted this afternoon, “Some lucky players got a glimpse of our upcoming chapter release content in today’s mid-chapter update. We already pushed the right update live to all players on PC and PS4. XBOX users will receive it within a few days. In the meantime, enjoy the early hype on the next chapter!”
Ghostface will join previous slasher icons Leatherface, Michael Myers, Freddy Krueger and Saw‘s Amanda Young in Dead by Daylight, which has become a real treat for horror fans.
