[Launch Trailer] ‘Pathologic 2’ is Now Available on Steam!
Ice-Pick Lodge has launched the first part of their three-part saga Pathologic 2 on Steam today, and naturally, a launch trailer has come along with it. You’ll find that below.
Pathologic 2 is a Narrative Driven Survival Thriller set in a world being consumed by a devastating plague.
“You are a healer, and to save anyone, you’ll have to survive in this bleak and strange world, where even food and medicine are scarce.”
As explained by Wikipedia, “The protagonist of the first part of the game is a surgeon called Artemy Burakh, also known as Haruspex. He is the son of the only local physician, Isidor Burakh, and the last few years he spent not in his native city, but in the capital, where he received medical education. One day he receives a letter from his father, where the latter says that great difficulties are coming, and that his son’s assistance would be much of use. Artemy sets off by train, encountering a strange fellow traveler, as well as having experienced several strange visions during his journey.”
“Upon his arrival at the town he is greeted by three locals trying to kill him. Somehow he manages to deal with the attackers, after which a couple of strange people in weird suits tell him that the locals suspect him of killing a very important person of the town and that the attack on him was an act of revenge. Now Artemy must find out what is going on in his native town as well as prove his innocence.”

Explore a Mysterious Island for Lost Riches in Co-Op Horror Adventure ‘Treasure Cove’ [Trailer]
Not to be confused with the 1992 educational sidescroller, Team5 has revealed the Steam page for its upcoming co-op title, Treasure Cove. Launching later this fall, this survival horror title sees you and your friends set out to explore a mysterious island in search of lost treasures. Of course, it’s never than simple, as exploring the island reveals more than you or your friends were expecting.
Details are still to come on the gameplay loop, but the basics for Treasure Cove have you and your squad navigating the island with a map and proximity voice chat in classic treasure-hunting style, with various gadgets to assist you in your search. Once you think you’ve found the spot, you start digging, and if you’ve read the map correctly, you’re rewarded with riches.
But as you might expect, digging up the treasure, extracting it and making it back to your boat isn’t so simple. Creatures are lurking in the darkness, and once they spot you, you’re on the run. Your only way of defense is to use your light, but even then, when you’re lugging around cursed treasure, you’re not safe for long. You and your team will need to keep quiet in order to avoid detection and survive.
If you do make it out alive, you can sell your treasures and buy better equipment for the next hunt.
