Break out that ever-useful salt shaker, we’ve got a rumour regarding the release date for Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us Part II.
The release date for the follow-up to the acclaimed original has been speculated for a long while. Back in January, the game’s composer, Gustavo Santaolalla, stated that the game was “coming very soon”. After that, we had leaked images and even Naughty Dog themselves dropping hints that the date would be unveiled soon.
Well, add another source to the pile, as Spanish site Gamereactor.es has made the claim that not only will there be a new trailer for The Last of Us Part 2 this week, but also that the game is headed for a Fall release date.
The recent Sony Investor Relations Day 2019 presentation does lend a bit of credence to this, not to mention that Death Stranding will finally be getting another trailer.
Still, keep that salt shaker handy.
The Last of Us Part 2 is set to exclusively hit the PlayStation 4.
