And if you think this is a one-off, apparently Italian journalist Antonio Fucito dropped the same date yesterday.

Neither Kojima or Sony have said anything (yet), but that will change tomorrow for sure. You can keep up with the announcement on PlayStation’s Twitch page.
Original story: Well, if this isn’t an indication that tomorrow will be interesting, then Kojima is the biggest troll ever.
The PlayStation Store has begun posting images of the pre-order bundle for Kojima’s upcoming Death Stranding, furthering the idea that we’ll be seeing the reveal of the release date for the PlayStation 4-exclusive tomorrow.

While there’s nothing physical to be had (since it’s the PlayStation Store, after all), the pre-order items include gold variants of in-game items that you’ll be unlocking as the game progresses, as well as a PS4 dynamic theme.
On top of that, the ad also includes a brief synopsis of the game, where Sam Bridges (presumably played by Norman Reedus) must protect the “remnants of our future” from a world corrupted by the Death Stranding.
Hold onto your butts, as they say.
