Production has wrapped up on the pilot season for Netflix’s The Witcher TV series has officially wrapped, according to showrunner Lauren S. Hissrich. The writer and producer posted a celebratory tweet to her personal Twitter account, while star Henry Cavill posted his response on Instagram.
That’s a wrap on season one! I have enough gray hair to play Geralt now, but it’s been the best year of my life. So grateful to the writers, the cast, and the exceptional crew who worked their asses off to make the Continent come to life. Now, onto… pic.twitter.com/BBuPYco1ER

With production complete, it’s expected that we’ll be seeing more photos and footage of the series, with the appropriate effects. Set photos have been leaked on various Reddit threads, as well as footage of the lumpy Nilfgaardian armor have left some fans a bit nervous, but as with many of these things, until the official stuff comes out, don’t hit the panic button.
The Witcher is expected to debut on Netflix later this year.
