New ‘Jurassic World Evolution’ DLC “Claire’s Sanctuary” Dated For June 16
Jurassic World Evolution fans hungry for more DLC won’t have to wait long, as the new DLC, Claire’s Sanctuary, will be headed your way later this month. The DLC will include new missions, new dinosaurs, and an all-new Jurassic World Evolution story.
The DLC has Claire attempting to save the dinosaurs facing potential disaster on the islands. New dinos for the DLC include the Albertosaurus, a large tyrannosaur with distinctive short, bony crests above the eyes and two extremely powerful legs; the Euoplocephalus, meaning “well-armoured head”, referring to its wide skull and toothless beak; and the Ouranosaurus, a powerfully built herbivore with a flat, duck-billed snout.
New dinosaurs aren’t the only addition, however. Brand new Paleobotany features have been added. You’ve been granted the ability to research and grow new plants using the new Greenhouse building, which you’ll be able to serve your dinosaurs to increase their lifespan, prestige, and make them feel more at home in the environments.
As well as Paleobotany and new dinosaurs, there’s also the new Jurassic Tour. Place the new station building within your park and set your tour path to go around a certain habitat, or around the entire park.
The DLC will retail for £12.99/$14.99.

Legendary Grimdark ‘Warhammer 40,000’ Artist John Blanche Has Passed Away at 78
In the grim darkness of the far future there is only war, but it was a cheerful illustrator from England who helped to define the terrifying war-torn imagery that inspired what we now know as Grimdark (a hybrid genre combining horror with sci-fi/fantasy).
Unfortunately for fans of Warhammer 40,000, Trench Crusade and countless other sources of Grimdark thrills, veteran artist John Blanche passed away this week after struggling with health issues for the past few years.
While the artist retired back in 2023, he leaves us with an enormous legacy of iconic artwork that continues to inspire gamers and storytellers around the world to this very day.
The news is especially gloomy as it was only last year that Daniel Lowman and Napoleon Dynamite himself Jon Heder released The Grim & the Dark: The Search for John Blanche, a documentary following Heder’s exploration of the Grimdark genre culminating in a heartwarming encounter with Blanche in his own home.
Below is one of my favorite pieces by Blanche, his highly influential depiction of Warhammer 40k’s God-Emperor of Mankind on his Golden Throne.
We send our deepest condolences to John Blanche’s family, friends, and fans.
