A few weeks back, Frontier announced that they were bringing Ghostbusters to their amusement park management game, Planet Coaster. Well today, the devs have released a launch trailer for the DLC, which is now available on Steam.
The biggest addition to the game is a five-chapter campaign mode, which features narration by Dan Aykroyd as Ray Stanz and William Atherton as Walter Peck, and was written by one of the writers of Ghostbusters: The Video Game (which coincidentally is getting the remaster treatment).
On top of that, you have new rides, a Stay Puft mascot, shop and vending machine, as well as 400 new building pieces and scenery. That also includes a bunch of animatronics based on characters from the 1984 film (Ray, Venkman, Egon, Winston, Slimer, Gozer, the terror dogs, a giant Stay Puft you can pose, a bunch of ghosts in the same style as the original movies, and more).
And yes, it wouldn’t be Ghostbusters without Ray Parker Jr.’s iconic theme song, which is also here.
