Three weeks ago, Hispanic site Generation Xbox had apparently leaked not only the cover art for The Coalition’s Gears of War 5, but also the release date.
That rumoured box art can probably be considered fact now, as the official Twitter for Gears of War 5 has posted the same artwork, teasing the game’s appearance at this year’s E3.

That of course begs the question of the rumoured release date of September 10th of this year, and if that’s the real deal, as well. Well, until Microsoft announces it next week, it’s still the rumour. However, given the leak of the cover art, it’s quite likely that GoW fans should be saving up for September 10th.
