After announcing a release window for BrokenLore: DON’T LIE last September, Serafini Productions and publisher Wired Productions have announced that the game will launch a this September 10 for PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, and the Xbox Series. And with Steam Next Fest in full swing, you can check out the brand-new demo for the game now.

A Japanese psychological horror experience inspired by themes of isolation, trauma, and fractured memory, BrokenLore: DON’T LIE places players in the role of Junko, a hikikomori whose carefully controlled world begins to collapse as long-buried memories resurface.

Junko withdrew from the outside world years ago. Now, as reality begins to distort around her, familiar places become twisted reflections of her past, forcing her to confront the people, experiences, and emotions she has spent her life trying to escape.

“At Wired Productions, we’ve built a reputation for publishing distinctive horror experiences that stay with players long after the credits roll” says Wired Productions Co-founder and Managing Director Leo Zullo. “BrokenLore: DON’T LIE is an exploration of isolation, memory, and self-deception that creates an experience which feels deeply human while remaining profoundly disturbing.”

Featuring Japanese voice acting throughout, BrokenLore: DON’T LIE combines exploration, investigation, psychological tension, and shifting realities as players uncover the truth hidden within Junko’s memories. As an unseen presence begins to watch and react to her actions, every discovery brings her closer to truths she may not be ready to face.
