[E3 2019] Fatshark Adds Versus Mode to ‘Vermintide 2’
During the PC Gaming Show at E3 2019, developer Fatshark announced that they’ll be added a new Versus mode to their hit game based on the Warhammer universe. Versus mode will allow players play as the enemy and fight the heroes.
With Versus, Fatshark will bring a 4 vs 4 gameplay to Vermintide 2, allowing human players to control the enemy factions. “The player has always been the hero of the game, but in the Versus mode, players will now be able to play as the enemy factions.” says Martin Wahlund, CEO Fatshark. “Versus is a competitive game mode where two separate teams of four players take turns playing as the enemies and heroes.”
You can currently sign up for the beta for Versus by heading to the official site.
Vermintide 2 is out now on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The game’s first expansion, “Winds of Magic”, is due out this August.

WWI Anomaly Horror Game ‘Shellshock’ Available Today on Steam [Trailer]
Not one to have Steelkrill Studio have all the fun, developer Man The Barricades is getting in on horror titles inspired by The Great War with their short anomaly horror title Shellshock, which is out today on Steam.
Inspired by liminal spaces and psychological horror, Shellshock is set in a WW1 trench, where you are a British soldier trapped in an endless looping nightmare. In order to escape your ordeal, you must inspect your surroundings and report anything that is out of place. If you spot an anomalous change, you must report it by going left to Intelligence Dispatch. If everything seems okay, head right.
Playtime for Shellshock clocks in at around 10-30 minutes, depending on your difficulty selection. The difficulty level also determines which trench number you must reach in order to to escape.
If you correctly identify any changes in the trench, you will progress to the next loop. If you fail to correctly identify a change, or you think there was a change when there wasn’t, you’ll go back to trench 0 and start again. Your goal is the reach the final trench and escape. The trench is short, but the differences are randomised in each loop. And sometimes, there are no changes at all.
