With Sony no-showing this year’s E3, there are obviously more than a few questions that fans are asking of the publisher. One of the more pressing ones is just when we’ll be seeing Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us Part 2. Speculation has been going crazy, and now you can add Ellie’s voice actress Ashley Johnson’s take to the mix of opinions on when we’ll see the game.
First reported by PSU, in an interview with Brain Foster, Johnson is asked about the game’s release date. Her response (despite being cut off by Foster) certainly looked and sounded like “February”. Skip to 1:07:25 in the video below to see for yourself.
Naughty Dog has yet to confirm The Last of Us Part 2 release date, although it’s been heavily suggested that the title will turn up in 2020 to make way for Kojima’s Death Stranding, which had its November 8th release date revealed earlier this month.
The Last of Us Part 2 is set to exclusively hit the PlayStation 4.
