We mentioned Headup and Cracked Head Games’ Silver Chains last year, when it was aiming for a Spring release. That never happened, but for PC gamers, the good news is that the game hits Steam on August 6th. Dates for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and the Nintendo Switch are still forthcoming.
With a strong focus on story and exploration, Silver Chains puts you in rural England as a man named Peter. After a mysterious accident, you wake up inside an abandoned mansion. Not knowing how or why you ended up here, you soon realize that you’re not alone.
As was the case in Outlast or Amnesia, you’re forced to hide or run from whatever it is that’s stalking you. In other words, streamers will be pleased.
