Get Psyched For Action With ‘Wolfenstein: Youngblood’ Launch Trailer

Published

on

Wolfenstein: Youngblood is set to bring co-op gameplay into the series for the first time on July 26th, and in anticipation, Bethesda have released the launch trailer for the FPS. Featuring an 80s synthwave soundtrack, guns and gore, the trailer does its job of showing just what kind of Nazi-killing antics you’ll be getting into.

On top of that, Bethesda has announced that PC players will have the game a day early on July 25th!

This Early Access does come at a bit of a cost, however: For you PC gaming fanatics, Youngblood will not support RTX on launch. That will come after the game is released worldwide. Furthermore, it’s a gamble by Bethesda with this early launch to just see how the PC port will handle.

Wolfenstein: Youngblood will be hitting PlayStation 4, Xbox One and the Nintendo Switch next week, while a Google Stadia port is expected down the road.

‘El Paso, Elsewhere’ – LaKeith Stanfield Starring in Adaptation of Monster Hunting Video Game

Last year’s monster hunting shooter El Paso, Elsewhere is headed to the screen, with THR reporting that LaKeith Stanfield (Haunted Mansion) will star in the live action film adaptation.

Stanfield will also produce the film alongside Lorenzo di Bonaventura.

THR notes in today’s report, “There is no writer or director, as the project is still being packaged in the hopes of finding a studio home. The package is seen as buzzy, as it is a video game adaptation, a bustling genre thanks to titles such as The Last of Us, the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise, and the most recent hit, Fallout.”

In the upcoming movie version of El Paso, Elsewhere, “Recovering from a toxic relationship, James Savage (LaKeith Stanfield) confronts both his inner demons and enigmatic ex-girlfriend, Janet, before she executes a world-ending ritual. James navigates her reality-bending universe of ethereal monsters while facing the truth of his own addictions and skewed sense of self-worth. James learns that the only route to love is through healing.”

Developer Strange Scaffold’s El Paso, Elsewhere was released this past September.

Aaron Boehm wrote in his 4-star review here on Bloody Disgusting, “Much like its inspiration Max Payne, and other games in Remedy’s catalog, there’s a clear vision that unites every frame of this game, making for an experience that both reignites a classic action subgenre and forges an identity all its own. Few games have a better elevator pitch than El Paso, Elsewhere, and it’s awesome to see it live up to those expectations with style and heart.”
