Despite spawning a so-so film adaptation, Digital Happiness’ DreadOut will be getting a sequel. DreadOut 2 will be headed to Gamescom later this month, and on top of that, the devs have released a new gameplay teaser trailer.
A mix of survival and action horror, DreadOut 2 has you ghost hunting with your smartphone, with a mix of “action-packed battles” within the game’s world. On top of that, you can also expect “silly high school problems, satirical social commentary, and touchy, yet memorable moments”.
You can currently wishlist the game on Steam. No release date info has been revealed.
