CD Projekt Red’s upcoming Cyberpunk 2077 isn’t the only upcoming cyberpunk game in town. One More Level has jumped into the fray with Ghostrunner, revealing the title in a new trailer. Scheduled for launch next August, the game also sees the return of parkour stylings that we miss from Mirror’s Edge.
Ghostrunner‘s gameplay is no joke. Things like high mobility, one-hit-one-kill, and bullet-time mechanics are the basis for the fast-paced, high-adrenaline combat.
Humanity has recently faced a global disaster, forcing everyone to live in a single superstructure designed by someone called The Architect, which is ruled by The Keymaster. The structure itself is rife with crime and anarchy. You must ascend the tower, seek The Keymaster, and save humanity.
