Like some of you, I’m a little on the fence regarding the new Contra: Rogue Corps. Anyone who played the initial PlayStation offering back in the day, Contra: Legacy of War, knows that 3D hasn’t always been too kind to the series.
That being said, Konami has revealed two digital edition pre-order packages for the upcoming entry. In addition to the standard digital pre-order bundle, a Contra: Rogue Corps pre-order with Season Pass bundle is now available. Pricing for the Contra: Rogue Corps pre-order will remain at $39.99 USD, while the Season Pass Bundle will retail for $44.99 USD.
The Contra: Rogue Corps digital pre-order includes:
- Full Contra: Rogue Corps game
- Two digital t-shirts that can be applied to Hungry Beast in-game
- PlayStation 4 pre-orders will include an exclusive theme featuring artwork from legendary illustrator Tom DuBois
In addition to the items above, the Contra: Rogue Corps digital pre-order with Season Pass will include full access to the DLC that will be released on a monthly schedule the first four months post-launch. You can find out more about the DLC content on the official site.
Contra: Rogue Corps is due out for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC on September 24 in the Americas and Asia, and September 26 in Europe and Japan.
