Despite EA’s efforts, everyone found out about the upcoming Plants Vs Zombies: Battle For Neighborville. EA has now launched the website for the game, as well as a Founders Edition.
The Founders Edition will allow you to “play through six weeks of weekly content releases ahead of launch and receive Founding Neighbor benefits, like getting the game at a special Founder’s price of $29.99”. This is all ahead of the title’s release on October 18.

On top of that, the Founders Edition gets you the following:
- Exclusive Founder’s rewards for the first four weeks when you log in each week
- A special Founder’s price of $29.99
- A dedicated Discord channel where Founding Neighbors can share thoughts with our development team
- Updates on new weekly gameplay experiences through News from Neighborville posts and our weekly PvZ developer livestream Live from Neighborville
- The progress you make in the Founder’s Edition will roll over at launch
EA has made it clear that this isn’t a beta test. Rather, it’s “a program we’re rolling out to highlight our commitment to quality and the PvZ community”.
