‘Hitman 2’ September Roadmap Sees Agent 47 Take to The Tropics

Published

With summer nearly over, IO Interactive have released the September roadmap for Hitman 2, which sees Agent 47 jetting off to The Maldives in sun-soaked Haven Island. And with it, a bunch of new missions, new targets and unlocks.

Two missions have already been released so far. The Dalton Dissection contract will have Agent 47 return the New York bank to take out some new targets wearing the bank robber disguise with bonus bunny mask. The second contract, The Covert Dispersal, has Agent 47 crash a garden party by eliminating the undercover officers.

Next on the horizon is the Dubious Cohabitation contract, which is available September 12. In this mission, Agent 47 is on the lookout for an old assassin friend, with a lavish cashmerian suit as your reward for a successful mission. The first Legacy Elusive Target hits September 13th with The Blackmailer. The target will be walking the catwalks of Paris, and Agent 47 will need to take him out and retrieve a secret memory stick.

On September 19, another escalation contract will be released, The Merele Revelation, which has Agent 47 infiltrate a cult disguised as a Shaman. Upon completing this contract, you’ll unlock the Emetic Grenade that makes those caught in its range vomit. September 24 is when Haven Island will be available for expansion pass owners. Alongside the sunny resort are two expansion pass exclusive Special Assignments in the Bitter Pill and A Silver Tongue.

Rounding out the month is another Legacy Elusive target on September 27 with The Angel of Death. Within a 10-day timespan, Agent 47 must travel to Marrakesh to take out an old retired nurse.

Hitman 2 is currently out for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Survios Announces VR Title ‘Alien: Rogue Incursion’, Coming This Year [Trailer]

Remember back in 2022 when developer Survios had announced that they were teaming up with 20th Century Games to develop a new Alien title? Well seeing as it’s Alien Day, Survios has announced their brand-new VR title, Alien: Rogue Incursion. Coming “Holiday 2024” to the PlayStation VR2, SteamVR, and Quest 3, Rogue Incursion will feature an original story that “fully surrounds players within the terrors of the Alien universe”.

Details on the game are light at the moment, but the official site describes the upcoming title as being “designed by Alien fans for Alien fans”, with Survios aiming to craft a “technically advanced, and frightfully immersive Alien virtual reality game.”

Seeing as Alien: Isolation never got official VR support when it was released, this is obviously a welcome announcement. In the meantime, if you’re keen to experience an Alien game in VR, you can always check out the fan-made mod for Alien: Isolation by Nibre_, which allows both the Steam and Epic Games Store version of Alien: Isolation to be played using the Oculus.

And speaking of Alien: Isolation, as you might expect, it’s got a hefty 80% discount going on at the moment on Steam until May 1. So if you still haven’t grabbed it after all these years, this is as good a time as any.
