YouTuber Discovers Ghostly Secret in ‘P.T.’ Demo Via Hacking
Yeah, it’s another story about the “what could have been” P.T.. Sorry to pull at those heartstrings. Despite not being available to download for a number of years now (and the fact that Kojima gave the metaphorical middle finger to Konami years ago), we’re still finding secrets in that demo. Although, the way they were discovered required a little hacking.
YouTuber Lance McDonald (the same dude who’s made it a habit of finding cool cut content in Bloodborne) was able to hack the camera in P.T., and found out just what Lisa is doing as you move through her hallway.
In P.T., it's common to hear noises as if Lisa is right behind you, or see weird shadows moving around in front of you, but when you turn around, there's nothing there. I hacked the game to allow the player to see behind them without actually turning around and… pic.twitter.com/bj1P0ymIZ6

Essentially, Lisa is constantly hovering behind you, disappearing whenever you turn around. In fact, she’s locked to the back of your character.
She actually attaches to the player's back as soon as you get the flashlight, here, I demonstrate how you can see some strange shadows. I then lock the camera in place and walk forward, showing how she's always there… following you… pic.twitter.com/zarhwjNmZz

Definitely not the nicest feeling in the world knowing that a creepy ghost is stuck on your back. It also is just another painful reminder of just what we could’ve gotten had Konami and Kojima gotten along.
Kojima’s first game after leaving Konami, Death Stranding, comes out for PlayStation 4 on November 8.
