If you’re still undecided about the upcoming Contra: Rogue Corps, Konami has decided to try and sway your favour by releasing a free demo for the game on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Switch worldwide (sorry, PC gamers).
According to Konami, the demo “showcase[s] the single-player campaign of the twin-stick, third-person action game, including a playable preview of one of the many large-scale boss battles that will be a part of the final version of the game.” The game’s co-op (both local and online) and PvP modes are also available with the demo.
Featured within the demo is a new gameplay trailer, which shows never-before-seen footage from Contra: Rogue Corps. The demo level is standalone, and progress will not be carried over to the main game on release.
Contra: Rogue Corps is due out for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC on September 24 in the Americas and Asia, and September 26 in Europe and Japan.
