As if the first 50 minutes of Death Stranding wasn’t weird enough, Sony Interactive Entertainment and developer Kojima Productions debuted another 30 minutes of gameplay during the game’s “Gameplay Session Volume 2” stage event at Tokyo Game Show 2019.
This time around, the gameplay focuses on protagonist Sam Bridges’ Private Room. For starters, in typical Kojima fashion, if you zoom in on Sam’s crotch, he will get upset and cover himself. Do it enough times, and you can expect a punch. Oh, and the camera is apparently from the point of view of the jarred baby that Sam carries around. Throw in a few more customization options (including Monster Energy drinks), and yep, it’s a Kojima game.
Death Stranding hits the PlayStation 4 on November 8.
