The “Stranger Things” Update for ‘Dead by Daylight’ is Now Live!
After what seems like months (well, it has) for Behaviour Interactive’s Dead By Daylight to finally get that crossover with Stranger Things, that day has arrived. The Demogorgon, alongside new Survivors, Nancy Wheeler and Steve Harrington, are available as DLC right now.
In the new update, The Demogorgon can use portals to the Upside-Down to teleport around, and has a suite of perks relating to the generators survivors need to repair to escape. When a survivor is downed by the Demogorgon, a generator explodes. Survivors repairing them can suffer from exhaustion, and when one is repaired nearby windows become overgrown with Upside-Down goo and can’t be climbed through.
As for the Survivors, Nancy’s ability involves her trail of “scratch marks” being invisible when she’s at full health, she can heal by climbing into a locker after cleansing a totem, and any generator she’s repairing is visible to other survivors. If Steve unhooks another survivor they don’t leave a blood trail, and if someone attempts to unhook him the struggle timer pauses for a moment. He also has the ability to self-heal after being unhooked.
Dead By Daylight is available now for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The Nintendo Switch version will be available September 24th.

Get a Glimpse of the Boss Encounters with the New Trailer for ‘The Relic: First Guardian’ [Watch]
With two weeks to go until its launch, Project Cloud Games and Perp Games have given players a slice of the punishing and relentless bosses known as Brutals that players will face off against in The Relic: First Guardian. With fast-paced combat, 80 Brutals stand in your way of restoring the once peaceful land of Arsilthus to its glory.
Also featured in the trailer are glimpses of the many weapons and armour sets ready to be discovered in the game’s semi-open world, with plenty of lore attached to each piece you discover. Coupled with passive effects picked up along the way, these skill and weapon combos will directly alter your combat style to fit your flow.
The Relic: First Guardian takes place on the fictitious continent of Arsiltus. You are the First Guardian, charged with embarking on a heroic adventure to save the world. The once-prosperous Arsiltus was swallowed up by the void created by the destruction of the great relic and transformed into the land of death. Now your mission is to find the pieces of the broken great relic and close the void.
Look for The Relic: First Guardian on PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam on July 31, while versions for the Xbox Series and Nintendo Switch 2 are expected later this year. Digital pre-orders are open now on PlayStation 5, where you can pick up the game ahead of its launch and claim The Night of Unextinguished Flame bonus pack at no extra cost. This exclusive day-one bundle equips you for the trials ahead with an additional brutal dungeon to conquer, a unique relic, and a legendary exclusive weapon and armour set.
