The “Stranger Things” Update for ‘Dead by Daylight’ is Now Live!
After what seems like months (well, it has) for Behaviour Interactive’s Dead By Daylight to finally get that crossover with Stranger Things, that day has arrived. The Demogorgon, alongside new Survivors, Nancy Wheeler and Steve Harrington, are available as DLC right now.
In the new update, The Demogorgon can use portals to the Upside-Down to teleport around, and has a suite of perks relating to the generators survivors need to repair to escape. When a survivor is downed by the Demogorgon, a generator explodes. Survivors repairing them can suffer from exhaustion, and when one is repaired nearby windows become overgrown with Upside-Down goo and can’t be climbed through.
As for the Survivors, Nancy’s ability involves her trail of “scratch marks” being invisible when she’s at full health, she can heal by climbing into a locker after cleansing a totem, and any generator she’s repairing is visible to other survivors. If Steve unhooks another survivor they don’t leave a blood trail, and if someone attempts to unhook him the struggle timer pauses for a moment. He also has the ability to self-heal after being unhooked.
Dead By Daylight is available now for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The Nintendo Switch version will be available September 24th.

Game Overview Trailer Released for ‘Onimusha: Way of the Sword’ [Watch]
Capcom has kicked off their summer with a new Capcom Spotlight stream, which included a new five-minute “Game Overview” trailer for Onimusha: Way of the Sword. The trailer reveals a new foe that players will duel in the upcoming swordplay action game which launches on September 25 across PlayStation 5, the Xbox Series, the Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.
The footage provides a first look at Dohatsu-ten, a terrifyingly fast and bloodthirsty Genma. After carving its way into the mortal realm, this winged warrior from the depths of hell locks blades with protagonist Miyamoto Musashi in an intense boss battle.
And in case you missed it, pre-orders for Onimusha: Way of the Sword are available now, and include the “Sealed Curse” sword skin and “Lion Dog” charm as bonuses. You can also check out the demo on all platforms (save for the Switch 2).
Onimusha: Way of the Sword returns to a dark fantasy feudal Japan where samurai clash with the supernatural in cutting-edge combat. The game takes place in Kyoto during the early Edo period. In this time of relative peace for Japan, Malice has befallen the ancient city. Twisted into an eerie and unsettling place, Kyoto has been infested by the demonic Genma.
