Mr. X Becomes a Tiny Terror With This ‘Resident Evil 2’ Mod

Published

on

Modders continue to pick on Mr. X in Resident Evil 2. We’ve now got a mod that shrinks him down, but still allows him to put the hurt on you.

Courtesy of Raz0r’s Ultimate Trainer, players are now able to mess around with a whole whack of things with the game. This includes changing enemy and player sizes.

Unfortunately for Mr. X, shrinking him down causes his collision to shrink, too. In other words, he’ll end up swinging his arms in the air in futility as he tries to down you.

Other thank messing with enemy sizes, the trainer allows you to do cool things such as changing the game’s speed, pausing the in-game timers, eliminate recoil and other things that while fun, probably aren’t the way RE2 was intended to be played.

Also, this might end up causing a few issues with achievements, not to mention that it will cause that particular save file to no longer be compatible with the game, should you disable the trainer.

In other words, play at your own risk.

Demo for Train Horror Simulation Title ‘Only Humans On Board’ Joins Steam Next Fest

Published

NewGen Studio and PG Publishing are getting a head start on Steam Next Fest with their demo for their upcoming train horror simulation title, Only Humans On Board. Available now, the demo allows players to experience the core gameplay loop, including resource management, passenger interactions, document verification, and the growing mystery surrounding the train and its passengers.

Only Humans On Board is a simulation game with a detective horror twist set on a train. As a train vendor, you buy your supplies, manage a snacks cart, serve passengers, and scan IDs. However, some of your “customers” are only pretending to be human. If you miss a discrepancy, the shift ends very differently.

Once the wagon door opens, the shift begins. You’ll move through the tight central aisles to see what the customers need. Serve them quickly and get paid by scanning their boarding passes. You’ll need every cent, as the money you earn will be used to upgrade your trolley for better shifts and buy the supplies that you’ll need to keep going.

Only Humans On Board will launch into Steam Early Access in Q3 2026, with the plan to remain in the service for approximately six months in order to further expand the gameplay.
