Nintendo’s Luigi’s Mansion 3 isn’t too far off (it releases on Halloween, after all). So what’s Nintendo to do but to release a new six-minute Japanese overview trailer for the game, along with a new TV spot? They’re both in Japanese, but you get the gist of what’s going on.
If for some reason you don’t get it, in Luigi’s Mansion 3, Luigi along with Mario and friends embark on a dream vacation upon receiving an invitation to a luxurious hotel. However, it’s all a ruse when King Boo reveals everything had been a ploy to capture Mario and friends. With the assistance of Professor E. Gadd once again, the reluctant and cowardly hero Luigi traverses up and down treacherous floors of the now-ominous hotel on a quest to save them.
New to the game is the upgraded Poltergust G-00 to slam and blow away the ghosts’ defenses, and Gooigi, an all-green doppelganger that can help Luigi overcome obstacles he can’t get past.
