Now this is more like it. As it was announced two weeks ago, publisher Bigben Interactive and developer Cyanide have released the reveal trailer for Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Earthblood at this year’s PDXCON in Berlin.
An action RPG adaption of the classic role-playing game, players take on the role of Cahal, a banished werewolf forced to return to the aid of his endangered clan and master the devastating Rage within him to punish all those that would pollute, destroy, and corrupt Gaia, or Mother Earth. On his quest for redemption, Cahal will play a “pivotal role” in the Great War of the Garou against Pentex, a powerful corporation whose activities are upsetting the balance of nature.
Granted, setting a trailer for a werewolf game with environmental issues against Of Mice & Men’s “Bones Exposed” is all kinds of nuts. But deep down, this might be so crazy that it’s fun.
Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Earthblood is due out for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in 2020.
