The fact that we’re not getting any further DLC for Devil May Cry V isn’t stopping a couple of modders from adding in a co-op feature to the game. While DMCV has a limited kind of online co-op in the form of its cameo system, the mod created by Dante and Raz0r for the PC version of the game allows players to have online co-op in most of the campaign missions and Bloody Palace mode.
The mod, which you can download here, allows up to three players to fight together as Nero, Dante, and V. Multiple instances of the same character isn’t possible, however (which makes sense). The mod also enables some of the graphics options normally only visible in cutscenes, and even has a floating pause menu that won’t interrupt your co-op friends playing alongside you. Not a bad unofficial addition to the PC version.
Aside from the PC, Devil May Cry V is also available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
