December 5 is fast approaching for Darksiders: Genesis, and THQ Nordic have released a new gameplay trailer demonstrating the game’s “Creature Core” system. The system allows players to upgrade and customize either War or Strife’s battle skills. Both fighters begin with a variety of different attacks, but will gain access to more devastating and fascinating ways to smash demons on their journey through hell. “Creature Cores” can be picked up afters slaying enemies and bosses, but are also purchasable at Vulgrim’s store in exchange for souls.
Darksiders: Genesis will launch for PC via Steam and Google Stadia on December 5 of this year, and February 14, 2020 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
