‘WRATH: Aeon of Ruin’ Now Available on Steam Early Access
Publishers 1C Entertainment and 3D Realms, along with developer KillPixel, have finally given retro-inspired first-person shooter fans a treat by releasing WRATH: Aeon of Ruin to Steam Early Access. The game, which was scheduled to be out this past summer on Steam, will also be out for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and the Nintendo Switch early next year. You can grab the game on Steam now for $24.99 USD, with a 5% off launch discount. An additional 10% discount is available if you snag the bundle with WRATH: Aeon of Ruin and Ion Fury.
The story for WRATH has you as Outlander. Once adrift upon the Ageless Sea, you now find yourself on the shores of a dying world. From the consuming darkness emerges a figure cloaked in white, the Shepherd of Wayward Souls, who burdens you with the task of hunting down the remaining Guardians of the Old World. You must journey into the vast gloom to explore ancient ruins, discover forgotten secrets and battle the horrors that lurk within.

Brand New Steam Demo Released for ‘The Transylvania Adventure of Simon Quest’ [Trailer]
It’s been a long while since we had an update on Programancer and Retroware’s Castlevania II: Simon’s Quest tribute The Transylvania Adventure of Simon Quest. Of course, that’s all changed now, as the devs have opened the gates and released a new demo on Steam for the upcoming throwback sidescroller.
Unlike the original that was available back in 2021, this new demo has been completely rebuilt, however, featuring refined visuals, controls, and an overall more polished experience. The demo features the Bram region, where you can find plenty of content, including 8 subweapons, alternate routes, a hidden boss and more. We even get the full intro cutscene bringing players up to speed about what’s going on in the land of 15xx Transylvania
“This is the first publicly available demo I’ve released of The Transylvania Adventure of Simon Quest since it had its massive overhaul/rewrite,” explains Programancer. “I’ve shown this off at conventions recently, but now people can finally have this version of TASQ to play at home!”
The story for The Transylvania Adventure of Simon Quest sees the eponymous Simon Quest arriving in Transylvania, only to discover his vampire hunting rival, Stan Helsing, has already slain Dracula. Seeking to reclaim his glory, Simon Quest journeys across Wallachia to gather the dark count’s body parts to resurrect him, and then slay Dracula himself!
The game is currently in development for PC via Steam, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.
