‘Hitman 2’ Brings Holiday Cheer With December Roadmap
It’s the holiday season, and what better way to celebrate than to dress up as Santa and execute your contracts in Hitman 2? That’s exactly what the December roadmap will allow you to do, with things kicking off this Thursday.
The roadmap starts out with two new escalations on December 5, with a legacy elusive target coming on the sixth. On December 12, IO will kick off “12 Days of Contracts”. This is the culmination of a community initiative that took place on the Hitman forums. The community has curated 12 different holiday-themed contracts, which will be revealed each day during the event. There aren’t many details in these new contracts yet, but IO has promised more news would be coming soon.
In addition to the community event, Hitman 2 is getting two legacy missions. The first is Holiday Hoarders where you can unlock the Santa suit. The second is the Snow Festival in Hokkaido. Both will become permanent additions to the game, so you can jump in and murder on a whim. December finishes off with a few more escalations and a new elusive target.
Hitman 2 is available now on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.

The Mina the Hollower vinyl soundtrack is pressed on rich Velvet Purple Splatter Vinyl, and features retro-inspired zoetrope artwork designed by Nimit Malava. The soundtrack also comes with a pair of special 3D glasses that enhances the cover art, paying homage to the retro nostalgia of the old-school, chip-tastic tracks composed by Yacht Club Games’ Jake Kaufman and Yuzo Koshiro.
iam8bit also offers up a series of collectible keychains as part of a Blind Box set. Those who purchase will receive one of six randomized Mina designs rendered in high-quality, squishy PVC rubber, with a Secret Chase Rare in the mix for some lucky buyers. Keychains are available to purchase individually or bundled in a set of three, and purchasing the bundle guarantees three unique keychains.
Lastly, there’s the Mina the Hollower Notebook, a 240-page notebook that replicates Mina’s in-game journal and is brought to life in a forest green faux-leather, with beautiful gold embellishments on its cover.
As mentioned, for completionists, you can grab the entire collection in the Mina the Hollower: Bone Up Bundle Edition, ($89.99). The bundle comes with the soundtrack, one Keychain Blind Box and Notebook.
