As an addendum to the 12.01 update released yesterday, Capcom have released a “Developer Diary 4.5” for Monster Hunter World: Iceborne, introducing a new monster: the Mature Form of Xeno’jiiva.
As detailed in the dev diary, you’ll have a quest to do recon on Xeno’jiiva, which is available at Monster Rank 24 and above. Players will be able to slay Xeno’jiiva later on during the actual siege, which will be available on December 13th for a limited time.
Monster Hunter: World is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, while Monster Hunter World: Iceborne expansion is available now for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. A PC release due out on January 9, 2020.
