Tripwire Interactive Teams With Saber Interactive For New ‘Killing Floor 2’ Content Next Year!
So, you know that tease Tripwire left us in the holiday update trailer last week? Turns out that Tripwire are bringing World War Z developer Saber Interactive on board to create future features and content for the game!
In a Steam Community post, Tripwire’s product lead David Amata reveals the collaboration, saying that “Saber Interactive prove themselves to have the right technical and creative skillset that gelled well with Killing Floor 2’s identity and gameplay. Our internal team will still be heavily involved in guiding the design and intent for the updates as we work together so that we maintain a consistently high-quality bar that our community expects.”
As part of what the community expects, Tripwire have posted a survey that fans can fill out for the two developers to gauge what they should work towards. “We have a full slate of maps, weapons, and more that we’ve been planning that we think you’ll be excited for but as we did last year we want to see what you would like to see and how you feel about the overall state of the game.”
Tripwire and Saber will also continue their experiments with HRG weapons “to build a new identity for those existing weapons that they’ll be based on.” On top of that, Tripwire will be bringing winners from the 2019 Mapping Contest into the game in an official capacity, as well as continuing the seasonal events.
