Originally conceived of by a team of modders, the Killing Floor franchise has entertained (and horrified) more than 30+ million players worldwide, delivering years of guns, gore, and co-op mayhem. As part of the franchise anniversary celebrations, Killing Floor 2 will be free-to-play from May 16-20 on Steam, the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, the Xbox One and Xbox Series, and is on sale on all storefronts, including the Epic Games Store.

Fans can check the official Killing Floor social channels for specifics on these special anniversary, as well as the limited time discounts on Killing Floor 2. All progress made and rewards earned during this free weekend will be carried over to full accounts following purchase, including Perk levels and weapon unlocks.

Meanwhile, the first developer diary for Killing Floor 3 is also available, which “drills into the bloody history and legacy of the franchise, and how the studio is returning to its horror roots with the upcoming sequel.”
