Those waiting on Frictional Games’ next yet-to-be-announced game have something new to chew on, courtesy of the developers themselves. The studio had revealed a few years back that they were working on two titles at the time, and it seems now that one of them is getting set for a reveal.
Not only has the main Frictional Games website received a revamp, it also has a new link to “Next Frictional Game”. In fact, the nextfrictionalgame.com website has been updated, too. The developer has long maintained the website in order to promote whatever project they’ve been working on, so this is definitely exciting.
A quick look at the updated site reveals a pulsing ball of something (electricity?) set against a black background. Nothing in the page’s HTML code gives away anything (very clever, guys), so whatever Frictional has in the works, they aren’t saying what it is. Yet.
Frictional’s last game, SOMA (which we reviewed here), was released back in 2015 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
