There’s still some time before Bethesda releases the Wastlanders expansion for Fallout 76, what’s a developer to do but show off footage of the expansion with Jason Mewes?
At PAX East this past weekend, Bethesda showed off about 17 minutes of the expansion, which also brings NPCs into the game. One such NPC is Mort, a ghoul voiced by Jason Mewes himself. Members of the development team were also on hand to discuss the expansion, noting the new reputation system, and a choice to make between settlers and raiders.
Among the other additions are new weapons, such as a bow and a plasma caster, a revamped lighting system, and instanced locations for major NPCs so that you (and any team mates) aren’t bothered by randoms while you’re focusing on the main storyline.
The Wastelanders expansion for Fallout 76 arrives on April 7.
