on

Rebellion have released the first DLC for their WWII zombie shoot Zombie Army 4, as well as revealed the DLC roadmap for the title. The first mission of a brand new three-part campaign, Hell Cult, Terror Lab, is available now on PS4, Xbox One and PC.

Terror Lab introduces a brand new mission for players, along with new weapons (including molten lava weapon skins), the American Sea Captain character, and a new “Classic Boris” outfit. On top of that, players are also receiving a brand-new Horde map, Undead Wood, for free, which is separate from the DLC itself.

As for the road ahead, players can expect the second chapter in the Hell Cult DLC next month in Blood Count. That DLC also includes new weapons, new weapon skins, new player outfits and a new character in the Renegade Officer.

May 2020 will bring the conclusion to the Hell Cult DLC, along with more weapon packs and skins.

Zombie Army 4 is out now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. A Switch version of Zombie Army Trilogy is due out March 31.

‘El Paso, Elsewhere’ – LaKeith Stanfield Starring in Adaptation of Monster Hunting Video Game

Last year’s monster hunting shooter El Paso, Elsewhere is headed to the screen, with THR reporting that LaKeith Stanfield (Haunted Mansion) will star in the live action film adaptation.

Stanfield will also produce the film alongside Lorenzo di Bonaventura.

THR notes in today’s report, “There is no writer or director, as the project is still being packaged in the hopes of finding a studio home. The package is seen as buzzy, as it is a video game adaptation, a bustling genre thanks to titles such as The Last of Us, the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise, and the most recent hit, Fallout.”

In the upcoming movie version of El Paso, Elsewhere, “Recovering from a toxic relationship, James Savage (LaKeith Stanfield) confronts both his inner demons and enigmatic ex-girlfriend, Janet, before she executes a world-ending ritual. James navigates her reality-bending universe of ethereal monsters while facing the truth of his own addictions and skewed sense of self-worth. James learns that the only route to love is through healing.”

Developer Strange Scaffold’s El Paso, Elsewhere was released this past September.

Aaron Boehm wrote in his 4-star review here on Bloody Disgusting, “Much like its inspiration Max Payne, and other games in Remedy’s catalog, there’s a clear vision that unites every frame of this game, making for an experience that both reignites a classic action subgenre and forges an identity all its own. Few games have a better elevator pitch than El Paso, Elsewhere, and it’s awesome to see it live up to those expectations with style and heart.”
