By now gamers are lamenting the cancellation of E3 due to the coronavirus. And in the wake of that, news has started to pop up that Warner Bros were going to be making a big splash this year in the form of a new Batman game.
According to a report by Kotaku, WB was said to be planning to hold its own E3 press conference, where the much-teased Batman Arkham game would finally be revealed, alongside the reveal of Rocksteady Studios’ highly-secretive new project.
Of course, now that E3 2020 is no more, WB could simply just pivot like other companies and host digital events, rather than holding more formal press events.
Regardless, until WB actually schedules a conference, we’ll be sitting on our hands waiting for The Dark Knight to return.
