Capcom Asks Fans If They Want More ‘Resident Evil’ Remakes and Sequels in New Survey

Capcom is still riding on the Resident Evil wave, according to a new survey on their website. Not even a week after Resident Evil 3‘s release, Capcom are asking fans if they’re interested in more sequels and remakes of the series, even if it means having to buy new hardware.

The survey does have questions devoted to RE3 and the new Resident Evil Resistance, but Capcom also wants to know if fans would be interested in getting new remakes in the Resident Evil series, along with asking if they would be interested in new sequels, too. Each question then asks the the person to specify whether or not they’d purchase new titles on new hardware. Namely, the upcoming PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X.

This comes at an interesting time, since while Capcom might not have anything in production at the moment, rumours indicate the contrary. But until we get some confirmation (hopefully even later this month, if the rumours are true), it’s safe to say that Capcom isn’t going to be letting Resident Evil sit anytime soon.

Question is, assuming that they pursue other remakes, where do they go from here?

Resident Evil 3 and Resident Evil Resistance are out now on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
