New Details on ‘Godfall’ Revealed

Published

on

In the latest issue of Official PlayStation Magazine, Counterplay Games has dropped a few new details on their upcoming action-RPG, Godfall. For starters, the title is primarily aimed to be a next-gen experience, without any plans for a PS4 version. On top of that, the game is described as being a mix of Monster Hunter World and Dark Souls.

In Godfall, you start the game as one of the very least remaining Knight’s Order, making your way through different realms divided into Earth, Air, Fire, and Spirit Elements to stop the apocalypse. As you progress, you will get new combat skills and customization options, based on the class you choose to play in.

When it comes to the enemies, this is where Dark Souls comes into play, in that you have to perfect your timing in performing your actions to damage foes. Not only that, but the bosses will be able to take on multiple players at once (akin to Monster Hunter World).

Godfall will be published by Gearbox in Holidays 2020 for PS5 and PC.
