‘Song of Horror’ Episode 5 Hits May 28 in New Trailer

Published

on

Like many studios, Protocol Games have had to juggle with release dates for games, and the fifth episode of their psychological horror game Song of Horror was no exception. Instead of this final episode releasing on May 14, the devs have pushed the release back to May 28 for the purposes of polish.

Dubbed “The Horror and The Song” – the fifth episode serves as the player’s final opportunity to stop the cursed song from playing and rid yourself of the cursed entity known as The Presence that currently haunts you.

“We set out to both honour the big survival-horror games of old, and to bring something new to the genre at the same time,” says Protocol Games founder Carlos Grupeli. “It wasn’t easy but, in many ways, the fifth and final episode is the natural culmination of all that ambition, and the chapter where most is at stake. It’ll be sad to bring Song of Horror to a close after all this time, but we can’t wait to see what the fans make of it.”

Episodes 1 through 4 of Song of Horror are currently available on Steam. PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of the game are due in Q2 2020.
