Lovecraftian Action Game ‘Source of Madness’ Announced For The Nintendo Switch And PC
Thunderful Publishing and developer Carry Castle are bringing more Lovecraftian horror your way with Source of Madness, a dark action roguelite that’s headed to the Switch and PC via Steam next year. In Source of Madness, the world did not go into the Age of Enlightenment. Instead, magic and the monsters of Lovecraft dominate. The world is steered and controlled by cosmic entities where the human race hangs on. You play as newly initiated acolytes at the tower of knowledge, where people of Loam have taken shelter from the disturbing hordes of monsters currently infesting the Loam Lands. It’s up to you to set things right.
Stormind Games’ Remothered: Red Nun’s Legacy made an appearance at the PC Gaming Show over the weekend, debuting the first gameplay trailer for the upcoming Neo-Giallo horror game. The new trailer offers players a look at the pulse-pounding survival horror gameplay that awaits them when Red Nun’s Legacy releases later this year.
In this third entry in the Remothered series, players will enter a world where nothing is quite as it seems. Exploring an abandoned villa, you’ll need to use your wits to overcome disturbing revelations, secrets, and a twisted reality to learn the truth behind the Red Nun—all while surviving the relentless Stalkers preying upon you.
Red Nun’s Legacy introduces more ways than ever to fight back against the terror and expand your exploration. Utilize limited melee weapons to keep the Stalkers at bay, and conjure unique psychic powers to uncover new hidden pathways and secrets in the villa.
Remothered: Red Nun’s Legacy features a star-studded roster of talent including the voices of Cissy Jones (Telltale’s The Walking Dead, Life is Strange, BAFTA winner for Firewatch) and Maggie Robertson (Lady Dimitrescu in Resident Evil Village), as well as a soundtrack composed by the legendary Akira Yamaoka (Silent Hill).
