Kojima Drops Potential Hints of ‘Death Stranding’ DLC on Twitter?
While it could be that Hideo Kojima is once again messing with fans, a pair of recent tweets have some people thinking that the rumoured DLC for Death Stranding might be a very real thing.
The first tweet from Kojima has him talking about working from home. That might not seem important, other than the fact that he has blatantly placed a replica of Death Stranding’s BB on his desk. Again, it could be Kojima messing with his audience.
Here's my way of designing new title w/Yoji. 1st we discuss the setting for each character, the background, the world, the color, the characteristics, the roles, the images, ideas and keyword going back&forth via E-mail. WFH & 20 mins direct discussion. Mostly texting via iPhone. pic.twitter.com/XCYpFwsQ6U

The next tweet, however, does require a bit of snooping from the viewer. Kojima posted a concept art drawing of a drawing of a spaceship. If you look closely, however, you’ll see the word ‘Bridges’ written on the side. Bridges, in case you were unaware, is the surname of the game’s protagonist, Sam Porter Bridges (played by Norman Reedus, who incidentally dropped hints of Death Stranding DLC months back).
Working on the concept with listening to “OASIS” by Kitaro I recently bought. I(I used to have the vinyl) Love the illustration by Shusei Nagaoka. pic.twitter.com/hRLyZmnhe5

Of course, none of this has been confirmed, nor has Kojima said anything about DLC for the game. And as we know, Kojima does like to mess with people. Regardless, Death Stranding is available now on PlayStation 4, with a PC release on Steam and the Epic Games Store on July 14th.

If you haven’t yet checked out Aniplex Inc. and JOYCITY Corporation’s Resident Evil Survival Unit, the free-to-play real-time strategy game has just announced a new collaboration with another Capcom property in Monster Hunter to entice prospective players. Kicking off on July 2 and running until July 29, the limited-time collaboration will introduce Monster Hunter–inspired elements into the post-apocalyptic world of Resident Evil Survival Unit, adding large-scale monster encounters to the game’s strategic systems.
Details on the collaboration are being kept under wraps for now, but during the event, players will be able to participate in collaboration-exclusive in-game events that will earn them special rewards inspired by the Monster Hunter series. We do get a brief teaser trailer for the upcoming event, which in addition to teasing various monsters for players to battle, also promises new units for players to recruit.
Set in a parallel world inspired by the Resident Evil universe, the game features an original storyline and real-time strategic gameplay designed for mobile platforms. Players will build bases, secure resources, and battle creatures in a collapsed city. Iconic characters such as Leon S. Kennedy, Claire Redfield, and Jill Valentine appear throughout the game, allowing for team formations that bring together characters from across the Resident Evil franchise, enabling unique combinations not seen in the original titles.
