Choices Abound in New ‘Weird West’ Developer Commentary Video

Published

on

Devolver Digital has more than a few goodies for genre fans on the way, but one of the more intriguing games is Wolfeye Studios’ Weird West. While the game doesn’t have a release date yet (other than “2021”), that didn’t stop the devs from showing off more of the game in a new trailer at Devolver Direct over the weekend that focuses on choice.

The game, which was first revealed back in December, allows players to employ a variety of ways to play, be it stealth, strategy, or just plain ol’ guns blazing. However, the game also has a number of choices for you in regards to your actions. Some which have the potential to come back to haunt you if you choose poorly.

Did we mention that if you decided to reload after you make such a choice, the damage is done? And despite your best efforts, the changes are permanent? Case in point: Kill a merchant, and you can expect retaliation down the road.

Again, no release date as of yet, but you can at least wishlist Weird West on Steam.
