Latest Update to ‘Postal 4’ Brings New Areas, Weapons And Fixes [Video]

Published

on

Running With Scissors’s Postal 4 launched last year into Steam Early Access, and the team is still at it with development, adding new goodies and fixing up bugs. In fact, in the latest update, players can now not only visit new areas of the game, but also have a few new toys to use in their mayhem.

The team kicked off its new Tuesday updates by revealing three new zones to play in: The Border Land, Retail and Ghost Town areas. As the name suggests, the Border Land sits on the border of US and Mexico, and offers up a visual contrast between the two countries. Retail contains many of the businesses for Edensin, while the Ghost Town is part of the Historic District zone, and as you might expect, has a Wild West theme to it. Along with the new areas are a share of new missions, as well.

Of course, it wouldn’t be Postal without weapons, now would it? The latest update adds a trio of new weapons, including the return of the shovel from Postal 2. The update also features the usual bug fixes and enhancements to animations. Plus, you now get the ability to transform into a cat.

If you’re a sucker for the series’ off-kilter humour, you can pick up Postal 4 now over on Steam with a 20% off sale until August 26th.
