On Top of The PlayStation, Cosmic Horror Title ‘Quantum Error’ Also Headed to The Xbox Series X
On top of the big news from yesterday, developer TeamKill Media has announced that their upcoming cosmic horror shooter Quantum Error will be headed to the Xbox Series X, in addition to the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. The team announced the move in a brand-new trailer.
On top of that news, we also finally have a bit of a synopsis for the shooter, courtesy of the official site:
When the Monad Quantum Research Facility, 30 miles off the shore of California, is attacked by an unknown entity, engulfing the complex in flames and putting it into a full containment lock-down, a distress call is sent for mutual aid to the Garboa Fire Dept in San Francisco, California. Fire Chief Sturgis answers the call and sends you, Captain Jacob Thomas, your partner Shane Costa, and a crew by helicopter to the Monad Facility.
Your mission is simple: save as many lives from the burning complex as possible and get out. However, what starts as a rescue mission quickly plummets into darkness, when you arrive and find that things are not as they appear.
Black Tabby Games has dropped a little update on the progress for Scarlet Hollow, announcing that writing work on their planned expansion to the game’s first five episodes has finished, with the team pivoting to the art. Testing for the update is set to begin in “about a couple of weeks,” though if you’re a Patreon member, you can get early access to it.
The update adds around 70,000 words of new and remastered content, with most of it expanding some of the shorter sections. The update also tweaks certain aspects of gameplay, as well as adding more dialogue (obviously) between characters, and even revamps one of the endings to the fifth episode.
The team also confirmed that writing for Episode 6 is well underway, though no release date has been announced.

What was supposed to be a quiet getaway in the rural mountains of North Carolina to meet your long-lost cousin and comfort her through her mother’s funeral, has turned into a nightmare of cryptids and other supernatural horrors.
